Here at Cheshire Graniteline we like a drink at the end of the working week. And just like our customers, we know the importance of a clean and attractive bar environment.
We know how important it is for bars, restaurants and hotels to create a welcoming atmosphere as soon as customers walk through the door. You only get one chance to make a first impression so investing in the atmosphere of your establishment should be a top priority. You need to make sure you create an attractive and welcoming space if you want to entice and hold on to customers.
Bar and reception countertops have become something of a speciality for the Graniteline team. We have lots of experience of using quality materials to create unique installations, all complete with the extra ‘wow factor’.
We have helped add an extra slice of luxury for lots of upmarket hotels and pubs in the region. Take a look through the projects gallery below and let us know what you think.
Fox and Hounds in Sproston – granite bar project
Our first and favourite example of a business based countertop was this one which we installed at the Fox and Hounds in Sproston, Cheshire. This wonderful country pub, located between Holmes Chapel and Middlewich matches fine ales with great food in a uniquely clean and comfortable environment.
We installed a hardwearing black granite counter with a curved bar edge finish and matching pillar arrangement. The design team matched this with granite tables, pale wooden panels and exposed brickwork to create a light and airy country feel complete with just a touch of class.
This job was made to measure for the pub including added extras such as a granite foundation for the ale pumps.
Attractive stained glass reception counter
This countertop was installed at another upmarket Cheshire business. Although not fully finished in the photograph you can see that we added a touch of class to the reception area by matching the lighter stained granite with a black panelling, all set against green stained glass.
Again, this project was completed bespoke to client requirements. The owner wanted the reception desk to be attractive and enticing as soon as customers walked in. But the owner was also concerned about the design looking tacky, so chose the understated glass panelling effect. We designed and installed this unit to be light and friendly.
Granite reception countertop in Cheshire
This is another example of a reception counter which we installed to client specifications in a well-established local hotel. Again, the owner wanted to go for something a little bit different which was immediately welcoming, and obviously the first port of call as soon as customers walked through the door.
We designed and installed a black granite double-overhang which served to mask the LCD light installation underneath. We also installed a tile arrangement which masked the binary black and white colour scheme.
